2nd grade dug in for a well fought out 3-1 win whilst the 1st grade young ones dug their toes in for a 6 – 4 win where every man in the team played his  part.

This was a good win for the team as Ainslie are one of the favourites for the competition and played their big guns.

Special mentions must go to Sean Guilard who pitched 8 innings to take the 6 – 4 win with Jason Lott on the mound in the ninth to close it out. Can’t leave without mentioning Ben Liepman’s 5 RBI’s.

Certainly a good day.
